MEP Engineer

About the role
We are recruiting an experienced MEP professional to oversee building
mechanical, electrical and plumbing maintenance at our Jeddah facility
management project. The job title will reflect the selected candidate’s
qualifications and applicable professional classification
Responsibilities
- Oversee inspection, operation and maintenance of building MEP systems.
- Monitor HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, pumps and firefighting systems.
- Develop and follow up PPM schedules and corrective maintenance plans.
- Investigate technical failures, determine root causes and recommend solutions.
- Review drawings, technical reports, scopes, material requirements and quotations.
- Lead maintenance teams and coordinate specialist contractors.
- Monitor contractor quality, safety compliance and maintenance performance.
- Prepare technical updates, recommendations and management reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience; OR DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in a related discipline with at least 8 years of relevant MEP experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building services.
- Experience in fault diagnosis, PPM, technical inspections and contractor management.
- Ability to interpret drawings and review technical specifications and quotations.
- CAFM/CMMS familiarity and good English reporting skills; Arabic is an advantage.
- Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility for the appropriate professional classification, where applicable
